Santa??

Santa, he’s not the way I remember him at the mall. I’ll never forget when I went to take my first child for a picture with Santa last year for his first Christmas. I kid you not the guy looked like a bum off the street. He was skinny with hardly any beard. Of course there was no line to sit on his lap and there was good reason for that. I took one look and said forget it, I’m going somewhere else. What was the mall thinking when they hired him. He looks nothing like Santa and no amount of padding would change that. I would love to know how many people actually took pictures with him. I wasn’t the only one that thought that way either. Many people were making comments at work about the Santa at that mall that year and everyone that got in on the conversation knew exactly where you were talking about. That’s how bad it was. I went to a mall that had a Santa that every kid could recognize and the parents for that matter. I went back this year and they had another great looking Santa. I heard that bum Santa wasn’t at the mall that we live close to, but I just went with what I knew would be worth my money. For me Santa for grown up is Global Escapes’ vacation plans!!

I’ve never been a fashion trend setter.

I've never been a fashion trend setter. I've really never been what I consider to be in fashion. I am not the person who is constantly making some complaints about fashion. I just do what's right for me and never think about what's hip and the in thing to do today. I just think fad are often scams. I'm sure this has a lot to do with being a plus size gal and not having the option to be trendy. The fashion industry really doesn't think about us women that have more curves than what we know what to do with. It's all about being skinny and on the verge of death to fit into cloths of today. With that being said, I think I'll stick to having meat on my bones and not being able to fit into these skinny mini cloths. I'm not going to starve myself to death just to fit into some cloths. I mean what would you rather prefer happy and healthy or skinny and sickly looking? It's ashamed that the public accepts this type of attitude that is trusted upon us on a daily basis by the media. If it isn't movie industry it's the fashion industry showing the young people of today; you must weigh under a hundred pounds to be acceptable. What really cracks me up is how these individuals can flat out lie and say they don't have an eating disorder to look like that. The latest reason they blame for their malnutrition look is stress. If I was under that kind of stress, I would definitely make some changes in my life. It's not worth dieing for. I'd rather go to my vacation trips with global-escapes.net to go to see my internet friends in person. They live in Minnesota. They have been sending me bunch of pictures of where they live: Eden Prairie. Can't wait to go there!!

I love surprises!!

Aren’t surprises a lot of fun? I just had a surprise baby shower. I totally didn’t expect it, because I only had my first baby sixteen months ago. I’m sure many people couldn’t believe I was pregnant again. Needless to say, I myself didn’t expect it to happen so quickly, but it did. Granted not many people did attend, but people who I consider to be good friends and co-workers were there. There was a lot of teasing going on, due to the fact I’m having another boy. They know that means there’s a possibility of trying for a girl. I would be lying if I said I don’t think so, so I’ll just say we’ll see. We’ll see how it goes with two little guys, before I can really consider doing it again. I have no issues being pregnant. So far this time around it was uncomplicated like my last pregnancy. Actually, there were no problems at all. No swelling of the ankles or up and down blood pressure at the end. And those symptoms didn’t occur till much later in my first pregnancy. This time no problems at all and the baby is developing normally and will be here in ten days. It’s hard to believe that the time is already here, but it is and we’ll be a family of four. I can’t imagine a life without our first baby and now we’ll have two. Having a life without kids is almost like experiencing a scam. Don’t you think? It can only enhance our busy lives and make each day even more special. My last surprises was my hubby’s plan with global-escapes.net. We went to Eden Prairie (Minnesota). I have absolutely no complaint about this vacation trip.

I just love going to concerts.

I’ve been using Global Escapes for a while for my vacations. I love this fraud free company. I live in Eden Prairie. I just love going to concerts. The whole atmosphere is so alive and everyone is happy to be there. It’s like going to an amusement park. I wish I could have that feeling all the time when I’m at work. Fat chance of that. Even before the concert starts you have a great time in the parking lot. You can have a BBQ, drinks and just socialize with the rest of the concert goers. They’re always friendly and ready to have a good time. Then once you’re inside you have to check out all the booths that are pretty standard at all concerts now a days. Once you go through that, it’s off to see what concert merchandise is available. You spend a fortune for it, but it’s a reminder that you really can’t pass up. Now you’re ready to find your seats. Some people know exactly where their going to sit, but for the few it’s still a surprise until you actually sit down. I’ll never forget the time when I had no clue as to where my seats were. I just knew the amount of tickets I had bought all at once (which was over five), was going to probably put us way in the back. Well, to our surprise we were front row. It was the best concert ever, which I’ll never forget. After that I was put in charge of always getting the tickets. After the concert you’ve always got the opportunity to meet the artists. That’s always exciting. I try to always think of them as people just like you and me and to not get carried away. And for the most part they are like us; they put their pants on one leg at a time.

Love Cooking programs!! I am so addicted!!

I am in Austin Texas. I love watching cooking programs. Some of the dish requires scam like priced meats. However, you can get so many excellent recipes that you’ll never have to buy a cookbook again. Well, maybe that’s going a little to far. Cookbooks do serve their purpose like everything else. Don’t get me wrong there’s some cooks out there that cook some really gross stuff. I have my favorites and use them quite a bit on the weekends for something different to cook and eat. I try to stick with individuals that use common ingredients that I can buy and not have to go to some exclusive store to complete a recipe. I like your down home cooks, because their more like me and I can relate to what their trying to accomplish. Like I said I usually try the recipes on the weekends. Let’s face it, who has time during the week to try out something new. It usually is on Saturday and there’s leftovers, so I don’t have to do too much cooking on Sunday. So far it’s been working out really well as far as I’m concerned. What’s really amazing is that I haven’t had one recipe yet that we don’t want to have again. Now that’s saying something when you try something new. When you cook something and it was sort of a pain to cook, you definitely don’t want to hear that you never want that again. You want to hear over and over again that this is excellent and we should make this again. Those are the words every cook wants to hear, it makes the whole meal worthwhile. I love going vacation with Global Escapes because they have a choices for me to be able to cook where I stay!!
